At Hofbräuhaus, brewing great bier is more than a craft; it’s a centuries-old tradition. Our authentic German biers have been brewed on site right here in Columbus for 10 years – using original recipes handed down by the Duke of Bavaria over 400 years ago.

All Hofbräuhaus biers are crafted in strict accordance with the German Purity Law (or “Reinheitsgebot”). This is the authentic way to brew traditional German biers, using only hops, malt, yeast, and water.
